Q) How do I order an Illustrated Name?
A) This link will take you to the Orders page, where you will find a full explanation of how to go about it.

Q) Is there a limit to the number of letters I can have for a name? What about, for instance, Sebastian?
A) Generally speaking, there is a limit of nine letters. If a name does not fit on the A4 paper I work with (21cm x 29.7cm), then I reduce the letter size down so that it fits comfortably. However, very long names could end up quite small, which is why I have the general rule of no more than nine letters.

Q) What about postage?
A) The prints are sent flat in a cellophane bag and securely packaged in a card-backed envelope, via 1st class Royal Mail post.

Postage and packing is £2.50p

At present, all postage costs referred to on this site are regarding UK destinations. For other destinations, please email and ask for a quote.

Q) Do your pictures come framed or mounted?
A) No, they don't. Framing and mounting both add to the expense of postage. Also, both can be qiute individual choices; for example, some people like a white mount, whereas some like a colour, sometimes matching it to a nursery colour scheme.

However, each picture comes with a card support, in a clear re-sealable cellophane bag (similar to the kind in which greetings cards are sold), so you can easily handle the artwork until it is framed, or even wrap it for a gift.

Q) Regarding the images of the names on the website - are the colours I see on my monitor the same as the actual print?
A) The colours of the names on screen may vary very slightly from the way they appear as prints. This is because of the limitations of computer screens. Generally speaking, it should not be a drastic difference and should in no way impair the enjoyment of the picture.

Q) Can I cancel my commission if I need to?
A)You can cancel your order within seven days of your sending a confirmation email that you accept a quote and wish me to go ahead with the commission.

Q) Can I return my artwork if I am unhappy with it?
A) In the event that you are unhappy with your name print, please post the print back to me in good condition within seven days of receipt. When I have received it, I will refund your money (this does not include the postage and packing cost).
